Man I definitely wasn’t expecting to publish this post so late. Unfortunately this head cold of mine has taken over my life at the moment. Between lying on the couch & giving the rest of my energy (very little) to the girls, I almost couldn’t bother writing. Here I am though toughing it out and sharing my sick meals with you.
It’s weird – usually when I’m sick my appetite is still in full force. This time around… not so much. Come dinner time the though of solids made me want to vomit. Good thing I both had protein powder on hand and was craving a smoothie. It took almost zero effort. I did go all fancy on Joshua’s dinner though. Well if you call boxed macaroni & cheese w/ chicken fancy Haha! Not every night can be restaurant-like. Tonights dinner will be even easier as Faiza is preparing Pakistani rice for me at this very moment. Woo hoo!! What an amazing person she is Anyways onto what I ate…
Breakfast: Maple brown sugar oatmeal mixed with peanut butter. I topped my bowl of deliciousness with a very juicy nectarine.
Lunch: Kale & chickpea salad with salsa cashews (my favorite!!) and chopped vegetables
Dinner: Strawberry protein smoothie with Honey Bunches of Oats cereal
Bedtime Snack: Un-pictured hot chocolate with a peppermint tea bag. Thank you Faiza for sharing this AMAZING idea with me!
Alright folks, it’s time to take my booty to bed while the girls are napping. I’ll see you tomorrow. I have quite the exciting things to share with y’all.
